This vent mounts to the aluminum roof in the livestock / cargo area. If you are replacing a vent, you will need to re-seal around the vent to prevent leaks. If you are adding this vent to a roof without vents, you will need to add framing for mounting, as well as seal the perimeter to prevent water leaks. The vent only no shroud. Shroud sold seperately.
